Fundraisers & Projects

Annual Hand Painted Pumpin Sale

Every year the members of Circle of Friends gather to hand paint pumpins and sell them for Halloween and the Fall Season. The proceeds go towards the charity, but the love and creativity is all for the families and individuals that buy them. As this popular annual event draws near we will post details and location maps here on the website. We look forward to seeing you there!

Camp Sanguinity

Through funds raised by its projects as well as generous donations from individuals within the community, the Circle of Friends organization is able to provide camperships that send children with cancer and related blood disorders to Camp Sanguinity each July. This is a special camp held annually at Camp John Marc just outside of Meridian, Texas for children in treatment through the Hematology/Oncology department at Cook Children's Medical Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. Children ages six to seventeen attend a week-long resident camp, while four and five-year-olds attend a one-day camp that is funded and staffed by Circle of Friends members and volunteers.
